Halloween Decorations

We've been busy at work putting together Halloween crafts, such as wreaths for Halloween and making some Autumn wreaths for friends and family. We've also been hitting some of the stores like Michael's and Target who have already marked down most of the Halloween stock. We picked up some great additions to add to our in-door and out-door Halloween decor. Picked up some Halloween baking supplies as well, decorations, a black wire tiered cupcake holder, some chocolate melts for making Chocolate Ghosts and Monsters and some other cool stuff. Halloween is almost here, it has snuck up so fast, we'll never get everything done!

I absolutely love this time of year!! Getting ready for Halloween really gets my creative juices flowing! Since I'm a "crafter" at heart, I get inspired to make all kinds of Halloween decorations for the house and for our Halloween party.

This year, we'll be making some new Halloween wreaths, some table centerpieces and some large displays to use on the porch for the trick-or-treaters to see when they come up.

Halloween Online has a new section for Crafts on their main website. In fact, the whole website has changed this year. It's always been one of my favorite places to go for Halloween ideas, they have like 20 web sites all dedicated to different things and their main page used to just link to all of them. But now they've changed that site to a whole "magazine" full of articles. They still list all of their other sites on a link page so I didn't have to worry that they'd stopped doing all the other sites they have. I've spent way too many hours looking it over this year.

Some of the projects in the new Craft section aren't on-line yet, they must be working on them, but I'll be going back for more ideas every day until I've run out of either time or money!

They also have a link at the top called Halloween 2007. I wondered what that was so I clicked it. It lists all the new articles they've added this year. Man, have they been busy!! For a Halloween lover like me, that website is pure heaven!!

I've started coming up with new ideas for decorating the house this year for Halloween. I found a bunch of cool Halloween websites. Halloween Online has been around for years and I've run across some of their sites before but this is thier main portal page that goes to all of the other sites they've made. This will keep me busy for weeks!

Some of my favorites are:
Wanda's Halloween Cookbook :lots of recipes.
Pumpkin Carving 101 : everything you could ever want to know about pumpkins and carving them.
The Yard Haunter : this site is great!! Gave me so many ideas on what to do with my yard for Halloween!
